AlloDerm Regenerative Tissue Matrix ("AlloDerm") is a banked human tissue graft product developed, manufactured and marketed by the New Jersey firm LifeCell. It is a human cell and tissue-based product and thus is not classified by the FDA as a medical device, biologic product or drug. It is used to remodel into a range of functional tissues in the human body that provide structural support. This litigation involves actions seeking damages and/or other relief arising allegedly from the use of AlloDerm.
