Camden Recovery Court to Celebrate Graduation
The Camden Vicinage will celebrate the graduation of 13 participants from its recovery court program on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. in courtroom 63 at the Camden County Hall of Justice, 101 S. 5th St., Camden, Assignment Judge Deborah Silverman Katz announced today.
Superior Court Judge Francisco Dominguez will preside. Nicole M., a 2021 recovery court graduate, will give the keynote address. Speakers will include Assistant Camden County Prosecutor Greg Audino, Assistant Deputy Public Defenders Rachel Carlson and Britt Kessler, and Landon Hacker with the Recovery Court Alumni group of Camden and Burlington counties.
The Judiciary’s recovery court program addresses nonviolent, addicted offenders. The program requires completion of phases of intensive drug and alcohol treatment and recovery while under court supervision.
The vicinage’s recovery court program, which began in 1996, has 496 participants and has graduated 1,075 participants.
