Camden Vicinage to Celebrate National Adoption Day

The Camden Vicinage will hold a National Adoption Day celebration on Friday, Nov. 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hall of Justice, 101 S. 5th St., Camden.  

Superior Court Judges Francine I. Axelrad and Linda W. Eynon will preside over five adoptions. To commemorate the day, the children will receive stuffed animals from the vicinage’s family division, and gift bags filled with keepsakes, courtesy of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Atlantic, Cape May, and Camden Counties.

The celebration will be hosted by the vicinage’s family division, in partnership with the Camden County Surrogate’s Office, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency, and CASA.

National Adoption Day is an annual event in which courts and communities in all 50 states join to finalize thousands of adoptions and to celebrate families who adopt.
