Associate Justice Michael Noriega to Administer Oath of Citizenship at Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem Vicinage Naturalization Ceremony

The Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem Vicinage will hold a naturalization ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. in courtroom 312 on the third floor of the Cumberland County Courthouse, 60 W. Broad St., Bridgeton, where Supreme Court Justice Michael Noriega will administer the Oath of Allegiance to 21 new citizens from nine countries.

The Cumberland County Semper Marine Detachment #205 Honor Guard will present the colors of the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance, which will be recited by Cumberland County Clerk Celeste Riley. Gloucester County Sheriff’s Officer and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Ed Nailor will sing the national anthem.

Assignment Judge Benjamin C. Telsey will give opening remarks. Justice Noriega, immigration attorney and Cumberland County Bar Association President Yolanda Garcia Balicki, and Ayowale E. Ayodele, a naturalized citizen from Nigeria, will give keynote remarks.

Justice Noriega, Judge Telsey, and Balicki will join Keith Dorr, director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Mount Laurel, to present applicants with their certificates of naturalization.

The ceremony is sponsored by the Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem Vicinage and the Cumberland County Bar Association.
