Supreme Court Order to Show Cause - In the Matter of R. Douglas Hoffman, Judge of the Municipal Court
The Supreme Court has issued a Complaint for Removal and Order to Show Cause in In the Matter of R. Douglas Hoffman, Judge of the Municipal Court.
The order is in response to a presentment filed by the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct on March 26. A complaint was filed by the committee on April 10, 2023, and an answer was filed on April 13, 2023.
The complaint was filed in accordance with the “Rules Governing the Courts of the State of New Jersey, Rule 2:15 Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct,” which is available at njcourts.gov.
