Burlington Vicinage to Hold Recovery Court Graduation

The Burlington Vicinage will hold an in-person graduation ceremony for 10 recovery court participants on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m. in the Burlington County Library auditorium, 5 Pioneer Blvd., Westampton.

Assignment Judge Jeanne T. Covert and Criminal Division Presiding Judge Terrence Cook will speak. Superior Court Judge Mark P. Tarantino, who leads the vicinage’s recovery court team, will preside.

The Judiciary’s recovery court program operates within the Superior Court to address non-violent, drug-related cases. The rigorous program requires completion of five phases of drug and alcohol treatment that includes intensive probation supervision, frequent drug testing, and virtual court appearances.

For more information about the vicinage’s recovery court program or the commencement ceremony, contact vicinage Recovery Court Coordinator Arthur Tomlin at 609-288-9500, ext. 38666.

The ceremony can be viewed here on the Burlington channel.
