Burlington Vicinage to Hold Recovery Court Graduation
The Burlington Vicinage will hold an in-person graduation ceremony for 13 recovery court participants on Friday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at the Burlington County Library auditorium, 5 Pioneer Blvd., Westampton.
Assignment Judge Jeanne T. Covert will welcome the graduates and their guests. Superior Court Judge Richard J. Nocella, who leads the vicinage’s recovery court team, will preside. Megan Cohen, a Bucks County, Pa., recovery court graduate and founder of the Grace Project, will be the guest speaker.
The Judiciary’s recovery court program operates within the Superior Court to address non-violent, drug-related cases. The rigorous program requires completion of five phases of intensive drug and alcohol treatment that includes intensive probation supervision, frequent drug testing, and virtual court appearances.
For more information about the vicinage’s recovery court program or the commencement ceremony, contact vicinage Recovery Court Coordinator Arthur Jim Tomlin at 609-288-9500, ext. 38666.
The ceremony can be viewed here on the Burlington channel.
