Notice - Partial Closure of Sussex County Courthouse Facilities on Wed., August 14 for Planned Security Drill

Judiciary areas in the Sussex County Courthouse, will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, for a planned security drill. On that day, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., anyone seeking a domestic violence temporary restraining order should make application at the Newton Municipal Court or their local police department. No matters will be heard in the Sussex County Courthouse during the drill from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
