Notice – Partial Closing of Morris County Court Facilities on August 2 for Planned Security Drill

Judiciary areas in the Morris County Courthouse, Morris County Administration and Records Building and Dover Probation Office, will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, for a planned security drill.  

On that day, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., anyone seeking a domestic violence temporary restraining order should make application at a local police department. Additionally, all applications for emergent orders to show cause filed on that day prior to 10:30 a.m. will be reviewed after 1:30 p.m.  Except for applications for domestic violence temporary restraining orders, if a party requires review of an emergent Superior Court matter on that day prior to 1:30 p.m., they should call (862) 397-5700 for further instructions.
