Notice – Multicounty Litigation – Proposed Conclusion of Stryker Trident Hip Implant Litigation MCL – Comments/Objections Requested by June 9, 2023
By Order of March 31, 2009, the Supreme Court designated all New Jersey state court Stryker Trident Hip Implant litigation for centralized management and assignment to Atlantic County Superior Court for handling by the then mass tort judge in that vicinage. By Order of October 31, 2014, the litigation was transferred to the Bergen Vicinage, and by Order of July 22, 2016, the litigation was assigned to Superior Court Judge Rachelle L. Harz. Judge Harz has reported to the Administrative Director of the Courts that all but ten remaining active cases have been resolved and that the MCL designation and centralized management of the Stryker Trident Hip Implant litigation should be concluded.
Accordingly, pursuant to the provisions of Court Rule 4:38A and Directive #02-19, "Multicounty Litigation Guidelines and Criteria for Designation (Revised)," this Notice is to advise of the proposed conclusion of the MCL designation of the New Jersey state-court Stryker Trident Hip Implant litigation.
Anyone wishing to comment on or object to this application should provide such comments or objections in writing, with relevant supporting documentation, by June 9, 2023 to:
