Notice and Orders - NJ Lawyer's Fund for Client Protection - 2024 Ineligible Lists for (1) Pro Hac Vice Attorneys; (2) In-House Counsel; (3) Foreign In-House Counsel; (4) Multijurisdictional Practitioners

Pro Hac Vice, In-House Counsel, Foreign In-House Counsel, and Multijurisdictional Practitioner attorneys are subject to the same requirements as licensed members of the New Jersey Bar under a number of Court Rules. Among these are the requirements to pay the annual assessment. The Supreme Court has entered an Order declaring ineligible in New Jersey those Pro Hac Vice, In-House Counsel, Foreign In-House Counsel and Multijurisdictional Practitioner attorneys not in compliance with the 2024 annual assessment. Those Orders and the associated Ineligible Lists are attached to this notice.

Pro Hac Vice, In-House Counsel, Foreign In-House Counsel, and Multijurisdictional Practitioner attorneys will be removed from these 2024 Ineligible Lists without further order of the Court upon filing the annual registration statement for 2024 together with payment of ALL of the following: the 2024 annual payment of $267; the $40 late fee; any arrears due from prior years; and a reinstatement fee of either $50, if being removed from one calendar year Ineligible List, or $100, if being removed from two or more calendar years' lists. Please note: Mandatory online registration and payment is now in effect and can be completed at www.njcourts.gov/attorneys/attorney-registration.
