What if I am convicted of a new crime?

What if I am convicted of a new crime?

If you are convicted of a crime committed while on parole (by either pleading guilty or being found guilty) you will have a revocation hearing. There will be no probable cause hearing. If you receive a suspended sentence or time served for the commission of a new crime, your parole officer can permit you to remain in the community pending the revocation hearing. The hearing can be held in the District Parole Office or some other convenient location in the community. If you receive a new custodial sentence, the hearing will be conducted where you are being held in custody.
