Appellate Division to Hear Oral Arguments in Monmouth Vicinage

The Monmouth Vicinage will host an Appellate Division panel that will hear oral arguments on Tuesday, Aug. 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 307 West at the Monmouth County Courthouse, 71 Monument Park, Freehold.

Appellate Division Judges Carmen Messano, Arnold Natali, and Morris Smith are scheduled to hear arguments.

This is an opportunity for students, attorneys, and the public to observe the appellate process. The Appellate Division of the Superior Court is the state’s intermediate appellate court, and its judges hear appeals from decisions of the trial courts, the Tax Court and state administrative agencies. Appellate arguments are typically heard in Morristown, New Brunswick, Newark, and Trenton but at times are scheduled at other locations to provide the public an opportunity to observe the appellate process locally.

The full appellate calendar can be accessed at njcourts.gov.

For more information, contact the Office of the Trial Court Administrator at 732-358-8700, ext. 87025.
