Morris/Sussex Vicinage to Hold Graduation Ceremony for Morris Recovery Court Participants

The Morris/Sussex Vicinage will hold a virtual graduation ceremony for three participants of the recovery court program in Morris County on Tuesday, June 14 at 9:30 a.m.

Superior Court Judge Robert M. Hanna will preside.

The Judiciary’s recovery court program operates within the Superior Court to address nonviolent drug-addicted offenders. The program requires completion of four phases of intensive drug and alcohol treatment and recovery. This level of supervision permits the program to support the recovery process but also allows supervisors to react quickly to impose appropriate therapeutic sanctions or to reinstate criminal proceedings when participants do not comply.

The recovery court program in Morris County has 132 participants.
