Middlesex Vicinage to Hold Law Day Celebration

The Middlesex Vicinage, in partnership with the Middlesex County Bar Association, will hold its Law Day celebration on Friday, May 6 at 9:30 a.m.

The 90-minute hybrid program will focus on this year’s national theme, “Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change.” New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Barry T. Albin will give the keynote address. Speakers include Assignment Judge Michael A. Toto, Middlesex County Bar Association President Edward Testino, and Middlesex County Bar Foundation President David Greenfield.

The program will recognize the mock trial team from East Brunswick High School, winners of the Middlesex County High School Mock Trial Competition. Students from East Brunswick High School will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Law Day is a national event held annually on May 1. Law Day celebrates the role of the judicial branch in our society and provides an opportunity to understand how the legal process and legal profession strive to uphold the rule of law and achieve justice in America.

Speakers and honorees will attend the event in person at the Middlesex County Courthouse in New Brunswick and guests will attend virtually.

The event will be livestreamed here.
