Order – Prospective Short-Term Recall of Appellate Division Chief Judge Carmen Messano

It is ORDERED that, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 43:6A-13, Appellate Division Chief Judge Carmen Messano, who will retire on pension May 23, 2023 and having given his consent, is hereby recalled by the Supreme Court for temporary service within the judicial system other than the Supreme Court effective May 23, 2023 through August 31, 2023, or until further Order; and

It is FURTHER ORDERED that during this period of recall service, Judge Messano (1) will be temporarily assigned to Part E of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court and subsequently to an Appellate Division summer part to be established, and (2) will serve as a member of the Committee of Opinions effective July 1, 2023 (Rule 1 :36-2).
