Notice - Election Hearings for the November 8, 2022 General Election & Early Voting.

  1. Election hearings including for the Tuesday, November 8, 2022 General Election and early voting will generally be conducted virtually with the option for the voter to request to proceed in person.
  2. The Judiciary will provide virtual access to hearings that are conducted virtually.
    1. Attorneys and members of the media and public can request virtual access to an election hearing being conducted virtually upon the request to the Assignment Judge or Trial Court Administrator. Absent separate permission, access to observe does not include permission to record or broadcast a virtual proceeding.
    2. Confidential personal identifiers (including but not limited to the voter's driver's license number) will be addressed in a virtual breakout room. Observers will not have access to the breakout room. Requests for an audio recording or transcript of an election proceeding will include the audio/written content of breakout room proceedings. 
  3. Observers, including the media and members of the public, may observe in-person proceedings in person at the courthouse.
  4. Requests to photograph, electronically record, or broadcast an election hearing should be submitted to the Assignment Judge, Trial Court Administrator, or designee using this form.
  5. Requests for a link to an audio recording of a concluded proceeding should be submitted to the transcript office using this form.
