Instructions
- First-time users must register with the New Jersey Courts to access the civil case system.
- If you already have a user ID and password to access eCourts, Evidence Submission, Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) or Municipal Case Resolution, you must use those credentials.
- Attorneys must use their assigned attorney bar ID credentials to access the eCourts Civil Case Jacket.

Common examples of confidential records include those involving child victims of sexual abuse, cases involving trade secrets and records in any case ordered impounded by a judge.
