Filing for Self-Represented Litigants

If you are representing yourself in court, you can register to submit court documents electronically and receive email notifications about your case. All self-represented tax court litigants must complete the registration process before filing. Register Now. If you have an ID and password to access eCourts, you may use those credentials to login as a returning user. You must complete the registration process prior to filing.

After activating your account, you will have access to both JEDS and eCourts. They both allow self- represented litigants to file their Tax Appeal cases electronically to the court.

  • If you are filing a state tax or tax relief program appeal please select JEDS on the left pane of the screen. JEDS is for filing a complaint only. Use eCourt tax to file additional documents after you received a docket number.
  • If you are filing a local property tax appeal please select eCourts on the left pane of the screen.
